Results

Direct Results and Publications:

i) Training for various stakeholders;
ii) Databases of legal obligations and monitoring of local sustainability indicators;
iii) Development of a sustainable development indicators system for Estarreja and presentation of various alternative systems;
iv) Publication of an e-book edited by the Legal Institute of the University of Coimbra and the CNRS / OHMI Estarreja.

 

Expected Results for the Estarreja Municipality:

i) Ability to measure sustainable development in Estarreja, through the perspectives of several key players in the municipality;
ii) Contribution to make key actors involved in the indicators development process;
iii) Training key actors for the implementation of the system in a long-term;
iv) Enrichment of local processes of decision-making, using the Indicator System and discussions on indicators trends;
v) The possibility to replicate the indicator system in other municipalities of the Ria de Aveiro.
